Hamachi setup
Hamachi is optional. Use it only when Reshenie provides a Hamachi network ID and password or asks you to enable remote support access.
When Hamachi is needed
Use Hamachi when:
- the DataStone appliance is not reachable over the local site network,
- Reshenie needs remote support access,
- your setup email includes a Hamachi network ID and password.
Skip this page when your DataStone URL is already reachable on the local network.
Open the Hamachi page
- Log in to the Admin UI.
- Open Settings and select Hamachi Client, or browse to
/admin/hamachi/. - Check the current status.
Join the network
- Enter the network ID from the setup email.
- Enter the network password.
- Submit the join request.
- Wait for the status to refresh.
Confirm online status
The Hamachi page should show that the client is online and joined to the expected network. Record the Hamachi IP if Reshenie asks for it.
If Hamachi cannot join the network, check that the network ID and password match the setup email exactly. If it still fails, send the visible status message to Reshenie support.
